QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in general office work and bookkeeping
  • Accurately type 55 words per minute
  • Experience using personal computers (Excel, Word, etc.)

  

REPORTS TO:    Director of Federal Programs

 

JOB GOAL:        To support the administrative efforts of the Title I program at the school and district level. To provide oversight for schools' Title I via school visits/ technical assistant meetings; to support school activities and initiatives; to support and facilitate professional development to Parent Liaisons, School Leaders, Title I team and other designees and to support activities and initiatives of the Title I program at schools and district levels. To assistwith the preparation of documentation for auditing purposes.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Knowledge of federal grant regulations and compliance guidelines preferred.
  2. Guidance and support in expending Title I/Categorical funds.
  3. Extensive knowledge of federal regulations and fiduciary responsibilities preferred
  4. Ensure that travel documents are complete and are recorded, copied and filed.
  5. Perform the accounting and reporting duties as assigned.
  6. Works independently with minimum direction: follows through and meets personal commibnents with appropriate actions in a timely manner.
  7. Must be able to collaborate effectively with District and school personnel, the general public, and work with diverse groups of people.
  8. Proficient in the use of software programs in general and specifically Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, etc.
  9. Deliver training in-person or virtual on federal program compliance and regulations to school administrators, designated school personnel, etc.
  10. Open and distribute mail for Federal Programs/State Categorical Funds
  11. Requisition supplies.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documents required for federal/state/local audit purposes.
  13. Verify monthly financial printouts
  14. Process required Title I Parent and Family Engagement Documentation
  15. Prepare correspondence/reports and process leave forms, etc. as requested.
  16. Perform secretarial duties, clerical work and typing.
  17. Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
  18. Verify monthly financial printouts.
  19. Be available to help other Leaming Services personnel as requested.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

 

Salary Range:               Range 9 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($14.01/hr - $25.43/hr depending on relevant experience)

Length of Contract:      244 contract days 

FLSA Status:                Exempt

Personnel Status:        Classified



EVALUATION:

 

Performance of this job will be evaluated according to provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Staff Personnel
