QUALIFICATIONS:                       

 

REPORTS TO:    Warehouse Coordinator

 

JOB GOAL:         To help increase the efficiency with which necessary materials are made available to the schools and departments.

 

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Responsible for the delivery of supplies to assigned schools.
  2. Upon completion of deliveries to assigned schools, driver will report back to the warehouse and start preparing orders for the next days deliveries.
  3. Will keep the Buyer informed with any problem or complaint he may become aware of in the course of making deliveries to assigned using unit or customer.
  4. Perform preventive maintenance on assigned vehicle to include oil change, lubrication and other minor repairs with the tools provided.  Report major vehicle problems to the Buyer for his dispensation.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

 

Salary Range:                  Range 8 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($13.94/hr. - $25.81/hr. depending on relevant experience)

Length of Contract:         244 contract days, 8 hours per day

FLSA Status:                    Non-exempt

Personnel Status:            Classified

EVALUATION:

 

Performance of this job will be evaluated according to provisions of the Board's policy of Evaluation of Support Staff Personnel.
