QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Graduate and one of the following:
- Completed two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education or obtained an Associate’s degree or higher degree or passed a paraprofessional academic assessment test (NCLB requirement)
REPORTS TO: ALE Classroom Facilitator
JOB GOAL: To aid and support the ALC Classroom Facilitator in the effective implementation of ALE programming.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reinforce instructional activities with students as prescribed by the ALE Classroom Facilitator.
- Assist in the preparation and effective implementation of all teaching and learning activities in ALCs or other ALE programming tiers.
- Provide effective student supervision at all times and assist in the coordination and effective implementation of all activities under the direction of the classroom facilitator.
- Inform site facilitator when supplies are low.
- Assist in the preparation instructional lessons as directed by the ALE classroom facilitator.
- Participate in in-service, professional, and/or faculty meetings as directed by the ALE classroom facilitator or building principal.
- Reports to and is responsible to the site facilitator.
- Other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary Range: Range 7 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($13.30/hr. - $25.18/hr. depending on relevant experience)
Length of Contract: 181 contract days
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Personnel Status: Classified

EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated according to provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Staff Personnel.
