QUALIFICATIONS:                       

 

REPORTS TO:     Director of Technology Operations

 

JOB GOAL:         To provide computer and mobile device repair service and basic network system administration tasks.  Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair system hardware and software.

 

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Evaluate personal computer and mobile device software and hardware issues. Run diagnostic programs to decide if the issue is software and/or hardware related.
  2. Test and replace electronic components; add peripherals and expansion boards.
  3. Troubleshoot, repair and configure local and network printers.
  4. Setup and configure new computer systems and mobile devices for end users.
  5. Perform general network related support and troubleshooting for end users.
  6. Troubleshoot and repair software issues, including operating systems and third party software.
  7. Have knowledge and ability to use imaging software.
  8. Responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing and troubleshooting audio and video equipment.
  9. Provide own transportation for service calls.  (Standard mileage reimbursement for personal car usage will apply according to PCSSD’s Business Procedure Manual.)
  10. Provide preventative maintenance for all computers and mobile devices.
  11. Assist Instructional Technology as needed or required
  12. Maintain certification/qualification requirements for Self Maintainer Programs and order warranty parts.
  13. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

 

Salary Range:                  Range 16 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($19.00/hr. - $33.52/hr. depending relevant experience)

Length of Contract:         244 contract days

FLSA Status:                    Non-Exempt

Personnel Status:            Classified

Performance of this job will be evaluated according to provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Staff Personnel.
